Speedweek Ep 1185 December 17, 2017 Part 2

The Croft circuit, located in the Yorkshire region, plays host to rounds 10 to 12 of the 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
Like many of the circuits on the calendar, Croft was originally a WWII airfield before being converted into a racing circuit shortly after the war. Despite starting out as a venue for circuit racing, Croft become well known as a Rallycross venue and played host to many events for this popular form racing, which continues today. Circuit racing was revived in 1997 to Croft and the BTCC first visited the venue in 1997 and remains on the calendar since.
