The first of our four-part coverage of the X-Champs. Formally known as the Nitro Champs, Sydney Dragway, played host to the first of the major ANDRA Championship meeting of 2014. This week’s episode of Speedweek features the Kings of the Sport – Top Fuel. Backing up the hour show is Sportsman action from Competition, Super Stock and Super Gas.
Round Two of the Shannons Nationals 2014 Championship was held April 25-27 at Mallala Motor Sport Park in South Australia. The show features one hour of action featuring the Dial Before You Dig Australian Super Six Touring Car Series, Kerrick Sports Sedan Series and Australian Kumho Tyres V8 Touring Car Series.
The opening round of the 2014 Offshore Superboat Championship launched at Newcastle Foreshore. Plenty of action as these monster boats fly high and fast. The event was tagged as Fuelarama that not only featured the super boats but also an Aussie, US and British Muscle Car show. The wet weather certainly made the water choppy and in one case was enough to break one of the drivers seats!

The final round of the 2013/14 Australian Drift Grand Prix was held at Calder Park in the Thunderdome, April 26 & 27, 2014. The good weather attracted a good crowd to the Melbourne facility and the stars of the show delivered plenty of sideways tyre smoking action.

The Hi-Tec Oils Figure 8 Drift Series kicked off 2014 with Round 1 at Sydney Motorsport Park. The wet conditions made the action slippery as the competitors worked one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the brake.
