Entering the final round, Yamaha Race Team’s veteran Kevin Curtain already had both the premier FX1000 Superbike and FX600 championships sewn up, but that didn’t stop the elder statesman of Australian road racing serving it up to all comers in both categories. Although Curtain certainly did not have things all his own way, beaten in both classes at the same meet for the first time this season.
